"WHAT A TREAT. My husband and I were in town and I saw this pretty restaurant when we were walking around looking for coffee. This restaurant fills up quick so it’s best to make a reservation in person to secure a table. The staff were friendly and bilingual and the service was quick. The restaurant is beautifully decorated on the inside with Japanese alcohol and ceramics. We were served miso soup at the beginning of our meal, compliments of the resto. Word of advice, don’t order the miso because you’ll get it for free anyways. We ordered the foie gras udon, foie gras sushi, salmon tartare and chirashi bowl. Everything tasted fresh and delicious! In hindsight though, I would not order two foie gras dishes because it ended up being too heavy of a meal and the udon ended up being a takeaway. If you’re craving for fresh sushi, MASU is a must go to in Font."
"Fresh ingredients Good food. Normally, they have a good service ( the gentleman) . However, last time we were there , the lady waitress was very rude. We were having a shared appetiser and she kept on asking us if we are done and when we said no , she just stood there waiting for us to finish the plate."
"We had an amazing meal at MaSu. The food was excellent (see attached photo), the outdoor seating was lovely and comfortable, the sake was delicious and smooth, and the service was outstanding. Effie is easily the best server in all of Fontainebleau. I'll definitely be back!"
"Very nice place in a side street behind the Chateau de Fontainebleau. We were hoping to have a very nice experience, presentation of food was very nice but the taste was ok nothing more. The staff very kind and accommodating, we had the tartare of tuna a bit too much onion/scallion and the Sakana was alright."
"I think the highlight of this restaurant is the impeccable service! Food was delicious too. We ordered karage chicken for appetizer, sukiyaki steak bowl (I don't remember the exact name of the dish), and Sakana bowl. My husband loved the karage so much that he ordered another one to go! Price is a bit on a higher end but it matches the quality."
"Good service and welcome. The dish was ok i just didn't know the salmon wasn't cooked at all. It was raw and i didn't enjoyed at all with the raw meat or raw fish. But it's ok if someone who like it."
"I've been meaning to come here for a while, especially after enjoying their sister café for brunch at Luwei. We sat upstairs, a cosy ambience with book corners and low lighting (hence the dark photos). Service friendly, food good but not all of us were bowled over. My dish, the Nikumaki Rossini was original with thin slices of tataki beef, foie gras and fried gambas hidden inside the rolls. Although delicious it did lack a little sauce and flavour but beautifully presented and colourful. It's quite copious so no need for a starter. Delicious dessert (it took a long time to arrive though) of black sesame cheesecake - a 'substitute', as the black sesame crème brûlée was finished. Cosy ambience particularly for couples."
"Decent food. Large servings (we over-ordered). Ambience is cosy and service is attentive."
